Beachbody P90x Again…

June 25, 2011 By: Jphotoz Category: Uncategorized

I have been a little too busy with work to post but I have been keeping up with my workouts. I am doing P90x again. I did not do the Insanity Asylum since I was worried about my asthma acting up during such a cardio program. I think maybe after this round of P90x I will give it a try. Hopefully I will be able to breathe. I am seeing some great results this round. I think my diet is working this time. I don’t think I was eating enough calories. I am loosing a little more weight again. I put about 8 pounds on but I feel that it is muscle weight. I have found it quite difficult to gain more muscle and still try to lose fat. I will get it worked out though. If anyone is interested in any Beachbody products please feel to contact me of click one of the links. They have worked for me…. I am in the best shape of my life.

Insanity after Hernia Surgery

March 16, 2011 By: Jphotoz Category: Uncategorized

I had to take a little break from working out since i had to have double hernia surgery. I took 2 weeks off from exercising so I could recover. On this past Saturday I started Insanity again. I figured that I would take it easy in regards to the weights. I know Insanity is not really taking it easy but I thought this would be a nice way to transition back into the grove. the first workout wasn’t too bad. It was tough to get my breathing right (Asthma) It takes me a little while to breath at the right times. Once I get used to it it will be fine. The second day was a little tougher due to the exercises that were scheduled. I think I pushed a little too hard on the push ups. Maybe I should have not done the last 4……I did have some pain when I was done but that did not last too long. I tried to do a little research on when to begin exercising but could not find enough recent information. My surgeon told me that it was ok to exercise as long as it was not uncomfortable. Well when is Insanity not uncomfortable. When I went for the office visit before he told me to just be care not to push to hard too early. Yesterday’s program Pure Cardio was tough. I had no pain to speak of but since I have not done Insanity in a while it I could not keep my breathing right. It also does not help that I am getting over a cold that has my lungs clogged. This too will pass. I will push through and dig deeper.

Beachbody P90x/P90x+/One One One Hybrid

January 27, 2011 By: Jphotoz Category: Uncategorized

Well I am almost 2 week into my new hybrid and I love it. So far I have not done the same workout. IT is nice not to have to do the same thing. Variety is the spice of life they say. I have to agree. I look forward to looking at the schedule to find out I have to do. It is broken up into body parts so you do the same body part on the same day but not the same dvd. I am still at the same weight via the scale. I hope I am still losing fat though. I have not had a chance to take a picture yet so I can compare.

Remember people if you are starting a new program one of the most important things to do is take a before picture. If you miss this step you may not be able to tell any of your changes. The scale does not always tell the truth. Since Muscle weighs more than fat you could be losing fat and gaining muscle and the scale will not be able to tell you that. I am not going for a weight loss goal on the scale this time around. My goal is to have a 6 pack. Will I ever be able to have one? I don’t know but I will try. People say that abs are made in the kitchen so I should be fine. I am very careful about what I eat. I try to eat right.
If you need any of the Beachbody programs or just some motivation you have come to the right place. It would be nice to have someone make some comments too.

Beachbody Fountain of Youth and Hip Hop Abs

January 08, 2011 By: Jphotoz Category: Uncategorized

I am now mixing P90x with Hip Hop Abs.  I like this combination since it is the best of both worlds.  Today I did One On One Fountain of Youth (Yoga).  I am not such a big fan of yoga but I am able to make it through this one.  I am not a limber as I would like to be but I guess I will get better with time.  I have a tough time with the one legged poses but that is due to balance.  I don’t have any.  I can tell you this though.  When I started P90x I could not even do the Hamstring stretch  on one legs without falling over.  Now I am able to do that stretch without falling or leaning.  I can also grab my foot with both hands.  That is the best part about these workouts,  you will get better the longer you stick with them.  I also did Hip Hop Abs Fat Burning Cardio.  I have a tough time when Shawn T does into fast mode since I don’t know the routine yet.  That too will get better with time.  Does anyone have any questions?  I am here to help.  If you are looking for someone to be your coach at Beachbody please feel free to contact me.  Have a great day

Free Coach Enrollment extended until January 7th

January 06, 2011 By: Jphotoz Category: Uncategorized

I hate to keep harping on this free enrollment but this is a great time to get started.  From what I hear this free enrollment has never happened before.  You don’t have to have any special skills or training to become a Beachbody coach.  Basically, you would be a representative for Beachbody.  For that you will receive a 25% discount on Beachbody products.  You can join up just to receive the discount and do nothing more.  For example if you wanted to purchase P90x  then you would save 25% right off the bat.  The saving will more than cover the$14.95 monthly fee for your Coach  Beachbody websites.  There is also a great possibility to make loads of money.  The highest paid coach makes almost a million dollars a year.  So this can change your life in more than one way.  Financially and physically.  Beachbody programs have changed my life, so that now I can do the things I wanted and was not able due to being over weight.  These programs can help you if you are over weight or already fit.  I am about to complete my second round of P90x on the 13th and I feel better for it.  Don’t wait there is  not that much time left.  Join Today.  Please feel free to ask any questions.

Hate Yoga But….

January 04, 2011 By: Jphotoz Category: Uncategorized

Hey I am almost through my second round of P90x and have not completed any of the yoga workouts.  I tried the first time it came around in the rotation but could not get through it.  Since I was trying to lose weight I felt that it was not necessary.  I replaced it with Plyo so I would burn more calories.  I have done a bunch of research and have now found out that yoga is one of the better workouts in the program.  So today I tried the One on One fountain of Youth.  This is a shorter workout than the P90x version of Yoga but it is still lead by Tony Horton.  I MADE IT THROUGH!!!  I was very happy with myself.  It was tough but I pushed through and made it to the end.  I could not stretch as far as Tony but I did my best.  I have noticed that during the course of building muscles that I have become less flexible.

Happy New Year- Start it off right

January 03, 2011 By: Jphotoz Category: Uncategorized

It is time to take the plunge into fitness.  I had a real nice workout today and I am feeling it a little in the arms.  I kind of like when you get a little muscle fatigue.  It reminds you that you worked out.  I pushed real hard and have been getting results.  I have been able to better each day.  More reps and more weight.  I am on Day 80 of my second round of P90x.  The difference of what I can do now is astounding.

It would be nice for some of you to join me with this fitness journey.  There are still a few days left to become a coach without an enrollment fee.  There is no prior training needed to be a coach either.  You can then save 25% off any Beachbody product.  If you don’t want to become a coach that is fine too.  Just click one of the links on this site and make your purchase and I will automatically become your coach.  This will allow me to help you with any of your fitness needs.
